Featuring 12 to 14 performers who have participated in The House of Songs’ program, this event will honor Threadgill’s World Headquarters (301 W Riverside Dr, Austin, TX 78704) before the venue closes its doors for the final time. Acts will perform a few songs of their own or songs that they have written as part of the songwriting collaborative. As Threadgill’s World Headquarters had played host to The House of Songs’ first events, the evening will be an immensely personal goodbye for The House of Songs and a tribute to the songwriting legacies that have graced the stage.
The evening will be hosted by The House of Songs Manager and Artist Coordinator Graham Weber and confirmed acts for the evening include Matt The Electrician, Ali Holder, Barbara Nesbitt, Daisy O'Connor, Graham Wilkinson, Lesly Reynaga and Sarah Sharp, among others to be announced. Doors for the event will open at 6 p.m. and tickets will be $10. For more information on the event, please see INSERT WEBPAGE/TICKET SITE HERE
“A Songwriters Farewell to Threadgill’s World Headquarters” will also serve as the public launch of one of The House of Songs most recent endeavors, the ATX P2P, which focuses on regional artists collaborating in The House of Songs Austin to create, build a better network and to share audiences.

Mazama Coffee Co. Vista Brewing Stage, 301-B Mercer St, Dripping Springs, TX
In the round with Brian Sutherland, Eric Edman, and Vanessa Lively
September 14 Friday 6:30pm - 9pm No cover
In the round with Nancy Scott, Steph Pappas, Shawnee Kilgore and Kate Howard
Shawnee Kilgore will be playing a month of original material without repeating a single song, and just to make things even more interesting she will shy away from anything that's on an album as well. That's five albums worth of material out the window so you get to wonder what the heck she's going to play every week! (Yep, she's nuts.) Come hear the deep cuts, old and new, at a great listening room.
Each week will feature a special guest, who will play one of Shawnee's songs and she will play one of theirs.
$8 advance/$10 door 8-9:30pm
